Show Notes
Actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt (aka John Blake from Batman) spoke at a Ted Talk earlier this year, where he shared how his addiction to attention through social media was beginning to affect his creative process. And you know he’s not the only one! That’s because we’re always thinking about what other people will think about what we’re doing – and what we’re making!! It’s a thought process that stops us from being the creators we were meant to be, from sharing who we really are.
This week, Chelsea Peitz joins us to discuss how we can maintain authenticity while utilizing social media tools to our advantage in our work in a way that fosters real human connections. We’ll talk about how to get past the intimidation that may tempt us to not really be ourselves on social media and answer the question of whether introverts are at a serious disadvantage in this new world of online personalities.
